Tigre is situated north of Buenos Aires at/in the Tigre River Delta:
People live on small islands and as there are no streets (almost) boats are used instead of buses and cars!

Some of the islands are such close together - just enough room for small boats to reach the houses.

All buildings are close to the water and between the houses and the water is a narrow footpath (like a sidewalk).
