First sight of the so-called "Frailejones" - a species only found at these altitudes on the Paramo
The closer I get to the laguna the more of those Frailejones I see on the mountainside - now being at roughly 3.500 meters altitude
...some are even in flower!

Finally reaching Laguna de Iguaque at approximately 3.700 meter above seelevel
